Early Life
-Her previous name was Spencer and she was child #4 to Viscount and Viscountess Althorp.
-They were hoping for a male child to carry on the family name, but their 3rd child, a boy, died after birth
-The Spencer family is considered to be one of Britain's oldest and most important families
-When she was born, they had not settled on a name, until they decided on Diana Frances, after an ancestress and her mother.

-Diana attended the Riddlesworth Hall, which was an all-girls school. She attended a public school when she was younger.

-At age 16, she left West Heath and attended the Institut Alpin Videmanette, a finishing school in Rougemont, Switzerland

Death

This crash was caused by the 3 of them trying to escape hounding paparazzis chasing them. Millions of people watched her funeral on TV. And her sons were also present there.
