-He was born in L.A. to Patsy Noah and Fred Levine. His uncle is journalist anad author Timothy Noah. He has a brother, Michael, and sister Julia Milne. When he was 6, he made the winning shot of his local YMCA championship basketball game which his father coached. It's said that this gave him the confidence to be successful.

-During his time in that band, he worked as a waiter at Johnny Rockets. He dropped out of Five Towns College and reunited with friends Mickey and Ryan anad introduced guitarist James Valentine in 2001. They all renamed the band Maroon 5 and began using their musical influences to make music. His girlfriend at the time, a girl named Jane, became the inspiration behind the song Songs About Jane
