Rihanna Wrote a Song About Chris Brown

We figured Rihanna’s “harder” album this year was in due part to her incident with Chris Brown last February. But it isn’t until now that she’s actually admitting to it. the songstress spoke with CNN and told them that working on Rated R really helped her to vent about her public break-up.

She especially opened up about the track “Cold Case Love,” which she says covers everything she "didn't say for the past eight months." The song, which is a collaboration with Justin Timberlake, is all about the aftermath Brown left her with.

She says, "It's a song that everybody wanted to hear, everything that I didn't say for the past eight months, exactly how I felt about that relationship and how I feel about it now - that song says it all."

In related news, all signs point to the fact that Rihanna has finally moved on from Brown with Dodger player Matt Kemp. He did an interview with MLB.com to talk about being thrown into the public eye in a different way since being linked to Rihanna. He said, "It can be a little overwhelming. But it's not going to affect my work. I get my work in and plan on repeating the same season or even better."

Matt Kemp Throws Rihanna a Birthday Party

So much for them being “just friends”! Rihanna celebrated her 22nd birthday over the weekend, and Dodger player Matt Kemp threw a big bash for her in Phoenix, where’s he’s been for spring training.

According to E!, the bash was a total surprise to Rihanna, who was only expecting a small get-together with a few close friends.

According to insiders, Kemp planned the big event for over a month! The source claims the party included Sprinkles cupcakes, Jamaican-style food, and Johnny Walker Blue Label as the drink of choice.

Kemp reportedly brought out a cake decorated with all of Rihanna’s tattoos, while everyone sang Happy Birthday. "It was so sweet, and she was really surprised," the source said. "She looked just beautiful."

The insider claims Kemp gave Rihanna a custom-made diamond necklace as her gift, as well as a lapdance from a little person porn star named Bridget the Midget! "It was a female little person," says a source of the strip tease. "She thought it was funny!"

Rihanna: People Think I'm a Bitch

rihanna
Rihanna has an image to maintain, but unfortunately her 'Hard' persona often comes out to be a little bitchy.

RiRi admits that people often think she's rude because she isn't always open and chatty when she meets new people.

She told WPGC radio: "I don't really open up to a lot of people, usually I go very quiet. If I don't know someone often I don't say very much, I observe and people think I am snooty because of that.

"People assume that I'm a b***h. But I don't think that I am. I just don't feel I have to be that enthusiastic if I don't know who you are yet."

One couple Rihanna always feels at ease with is her good pal Katy Perry and her new fiance Russell Brand because they make her “die laughing.”

“They are always kidding around and making jokes,” she said. “When I’m with them I just die laughing. They are both hilarious but together they are even funnier to be with.

She thinks the duo is so hilarious a movie studio should consider giving them their own movie. “It’s only a matter of time before they end up in a movie together or something,” she added.

Matt Kemp on Rihanna: We're Just Friends

rihanna
Last month Rihanna and Matt Kemp were photographed sucking face in Mexico, and this month they're "just friends."

"I can't get distracted by that," Kemp said about the buzz over his Baja trip. "My job is to get my work in, which I've been doing. Nothing distracts me from my job, not the contract, or my personal life. When it's time to play baseball, that's my job. No distractions."

Kemp said Rihanna is "just a friend," that he was shocked that their hookup made headlines. "That wasn't the plan," Kemp said. "She's just a friend, a good friend of mine and we went down to Mexico and had fun together.

"I didn't think all that would come out of it, it just happened. I'm not used to that much attention to my personal life. It's really not that big a deal. But in L.A., doing things here, you're under a microscope, they're examining everything you're doing. It's L.A., man, the city we live in. It is what it is. Can't control what happens."

Ok so we'll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he didn't know the paps were photographing them in Mexico, but how about their public date at the Lakers game? Obviously he knew what he was getting himself into...it's Rihanna for heavens sake!

Rihanna Insists She's Still Single

Rihanna may have gone on a romantic vacation with her rumored man Matt Kemp, but she insists she's still single.

Rihanna spoke to 104.3 MY FM's Valentine in the Morning show in Los Angeles where she talked about not having a date to the Grammys and how she's currently single.

"I'm going to the Grammys alone, as always!" she said. "Even when I was in a relationship, I always have gone alone." She then added, "I'm still single, if that's what you really want to ask!"

It was just last year during a pre-Grammy party where Rihanna was attacked by her then boyfriend Chris Brown. But Rihanna's not looking back, just one year later, she says she's "excited" about attending the Grammys.

RiRi is nominated for Best Rap/Song Collaboration with Jay-Z and Kanye West for "Run This Town."

"This was actually the first piece of music we did since the last Grammys," she said. "It's exciting that it's nominated."

"We cannot wait. We hope we bring home the bacon, but if not, it's great that it was nominated," she added.

Rihanna's Boyfriend Responds to Violence Rumors

Yesterday, an disturbing story surfaced claiming Rihanna’s new man Matt Kemp had a history of violence with an ex-girlfriend. The woman even came forward with a restraining order she claimed she was forced to get while the two were living together.

Kemp’s people have since responded to the report. The say in a statement:

"Matt dated Felisha about two years ago and decided to end their relationship. She chose to file a complaint and shortly thereafter, on her own accord, decided to drop it…. She has very recently said that she has no issue whatsoever with Matt and that she and Matt consider this to be a non-issue. Matt Kemp is a consummate Midwestern gentleman who has never displayed any act of violence towards a woman."

Felisha’s people in turn released a statement of their own, saying:

“Felisha Terrell and Matt Kemp lived together and were in a relationship for over a year where they both cared for one another. During the course of the relationship there was a restraining order filed by Felisha but it had nothing to do with domestic violence and to be clear Matt was never physically abusive to Felisha, nor did she fear for her life. The restraining order was subsequently vacated. They both have moved on separately but remain amicable.”

Rihanna's New Guy has History of Abuse

Rihanna seems very happy since meeting LA Dodger star Matt Kemp. The two were photographed on vacation in Cabo San Lucas together earlier this month getting very close. But is this new guy good for Rihanna, who is just coming off an abusive relationship? Maybe not.

According to Star magazine, Kemp has a history of violence against women. His ex-girlfriend whom he lived with Felisha Terrell had problems with the baseball star a couple years back. She even filed a restraining order against Kemp, saying he was threatening, intimidating and stalking" her. She also said at the time, "He is violent and I am afraid."

Rihanna’s friends are nervous about her new relationship and don’t want history repeating itself. One of them says, " "You'd think after what she went through with Chris, RiRi would be extra careful about learning the background of any man she gets close to. It's almost as if she has a dark side of her own... an attraction to bad boys."

According to Terrell’s restraining order, Kemp was also suspended for 2 days from work for getting into a fight. Terrell also mentions a time her ex was kicked out of a club for fighting with a woman. She goes on to say, “And now I am afraid his behavior will turn towards me since we are no longer dating and he has mentioned several times that I have no idea what stress he’s under, and what he has to deal with.”

Sounds shady! This is something Rihanna has to keep in mind! We’re sure she’s being careful about the people she surrounds herself with, but we can’t imagine if she had to go through any abuse again in her life.

Rihanna Ignored All the Warning Signs With Chris Brown

Rihanna may be happy and in love again, but looking back on her relationship with Chris Brown, she now realizes she ignored a lot of the warning signs.

Rihanna was left battered and bruised after an altercation with Brown back in February following Clive Davis' pre Grammy party. And looking back, she thinks that night could have been prevented.

She tells W magazine: “There were control issues, insecurity. When people are insecure they become very controlling and they can get very aggressive and in turn abusive. It doesn’t have to be physical.

“Like they would say bad stuff to you to make you feel lesser than them just so they would have control in the relationship. It takes a big toll on your emotions and on your everyday life. It changes you.”

Rihanna also revealed she was emotionally drained when she recorded latest album ‘Rated R’ because the break-up and the media attention surrounding their relationship has become too intense to deal with.

She said, “When I was making this album, every day I was in a different mood. Sometimes I was p***ed off, sometimes I was miserable, and every song brings out a different story.

“It’s still hard to listen to certain songs. Certain ones I couldn’t even record - I’d keep pushing them back. When the label finally said we had 12 hours to turn in the album, I was like, Okay, I have to record the last song. I just drank some red wine, dimmed the lights, got in the booth and sang it.'

Luckily Rihanna has since moved on from Chris Brown and is now dating Los Angeles Dodgers' star Matt Kemp. Chris on the other hand was found guilty of the assault and ordered to carry out 80 hours of community labor, 12 months of domestic violence counseling and five years probation.

Rihanna Helping Fan With Leukemia Find Donor

Rihanna's heart is as big as an ocean. The pop star is taking time out of her busy schedule to help 26-year-old Seun Adebiyi, a Nigerian athlete who had hoped to compete in the 2014 Winter Games in skeleton sledding, but was diagnosed with Leukemia during training, a bone marrow donor.

Rihanna got a heartbreaking letter from Seun and promised him she would do anything in her power to help him out.

Rihanna said: "Leukemia interrupted Seun's dream of being the first Nigerian in the Winter Olympics, but together we can help him make his dream come true. We need to find him a bone marrow donor! Please sign up with DKMS!"

And she's not alone in her search. Grey's Anatomy actor Justin Chambers is also asking potential bone marrow donors to come forward and help save the life of the Yale Law School graduate.

Seun is astonished both Rihanna and Justin have taken the time to help him. He said: "I am deeply touched by their plea for donors, not just for me, but for others as well.

"Their voices are so powerful and it encourages me how they used their influence to raise awareness about this important issue. That was incredible."

This isn't the first time Rihanna has used her star power for a good cause. Back in 2008 she made public pleas to help six-year-old Jasmina Anema and 43-year-old Lisa Flynn find bone marrow transplants. What an inspiration!

Rihanna’s new boyfriend is Mr. Funny Guy! Dodger player Matt Kemp has been spotted with Rihanna over the past week getting extremely close to her. In fact, we never even saw Rihanna get that close to Chris Brown when they were dating!

And it looks like Kemp has himself a sense of humor! He teamed up with Funny or Die to do a fake Match.com audition, and what he says may shock you!

He also takes the time to address the fact that he doesn’t hit women. Hmmm, wonder who he’s referring to. Watch the video below—is it too soon for him to be making jokes about both Rihanna and Chris Brown? Decide for yourself!
